Thanks to my wife's birthday I have finally gotten out and kayaked after my move south to NC. It's only taken 5.5 years. We had a great time on the New River in VA. It reminds me that I need to do things and try not to get to protective of what I do.
No better feeling than kayaking! I had to leave mine behind when we moved from the VA Beach area, but it's waiting for my return. If you haven't been to Merchants Mill Pond right near the VA/NC border - it's a very pretty paddle in spring or fall (outside of mosquito season). Have fun paddling!
